Named after Grace Kelly, late Princess of Monaco, the Kelly bag has a particular story behind it. Believed to be an accessory used to disguise the Princess’ pregnancy belly, the public started to refer to it using her name. Within a short span of time, the bag was baptised by the masses as The Kelly Bag, and soon Hermès adopted the catchy name. This Kelly bag was created in 2004 from buttery leather in a classic hazelnut brown tone. It presents a structured top handle that perfectly fits to the grip of the hand, or, if you're more casual and need your hands free, there's always the option to throw the additional longer strap over your shoulder. The foldover top features a twistlock, fastened by a charming padlock. The keys to the lock are skillfully concealed in the leather tag hanging from the handle. Finished with modern silver-tone hardware, the bag also has delicate purse feet. Please note that vintage items are not new and therefore might have minor imperfections.
